In 1999 when Professor Muhammad began the Archeological search for Jean Baptiste de Sable’s historical documents and remains. The founding Father of Chicago, Illinois. AC team led by Dr. Muhammad recovered the remains of DeSable and reconstructed the face of this great historical figure. A documentary was produced and published by, ASIA-MU PRODUCTION Learning Division, a subsidiary of Ancestral Creations LLC in 2001 to show the public the process, research, and results.
This project opened the door for AC to partner and collaborate with other Institutions such as Williams and Mary College, Lincoln University an HBCU, and today’s collaborative work on an archaeological forensic slave Burial ground preservation project study in Southeast Missouri, the African-American community of Sikeston, Missouri.

ASIA-MU PRODUCTION AND LEARNING DIVISION doing business formed as a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective, creative programming and curriculum that informs, educates, and inspires professionals, students, and the general public. The videos and curriculum produced and developed by The ASIA-MU PRODUCTION AND LEARNING DIVISION™® are based on historical and original research. The videos, which are used in conjunction with the curriculum, focus on specific needs, objectives, and audiences and make an impact by educating, motivating, and entertaining viewers.
For the purpose of public, corporate, and federal funding (Grants), the Institute (ASRI)™ASIA-MU PRODUCTION AND LEARNING DIVISION (AMPLD) developed a secondary educationally curriculum, designed and used by teachers and students, in conjunction with the Institute’s documentary production on the life and work of Jean Baptiste Point De Sable and the role he played in developing the economic structure in Illinois and in the United States. The curriculum work has resulted in a carefully and accurately documented account of De Sable’s life and legacy. Curriculum writers, who are familiar with history, geography, sociology, and science, have contributed to producing a written account of the multiple aspects of De Sable’s life. The curriculum will also elucidate and represent the work of De Sable in economic and political terms for AMPLD To enhance the curriculum, the Institute(AMPLD)™® will translate the written curriculum into interactive, Internet technology, which will allow students to view the curriculum on an interactive web site that focuses on the life of De Sable.
The reality of De Sable’s ethnic heritage was emphasized, as well as, his contribution as a historically important explorer and pioneer. The Curriculum focus on De Sable’s family contribution as the founder of Chicago and his significance in the historical development of Illinois and the entire Mississippi River Watershed. The importance of De Sable’s contributions to history will be emphasized through the utilization of original research conducted through the De Sable symposium© and research related to the De Sable dig and DNA Investigation. The curriculum will be updated on a regular basis, providing children of middle school age with a living history and a perpetual memorial to a historical figure.
In its completion, the project has gained understanding and appreciation of Mr. De Sable, who is a pivotal American future. The project has provided information about the founder and first settler of the Chicago community to the public. During the developmental stages of the project, researchers will uncover new factual material using science, math, and cultural history that will allow them to revise school curricula and reconstruct Chicago’s history.
Workshops:
The Institute (AMPLD)™® will pay for two, and a half-day training session for teachers who will use the DuSable curriculum in conjunction with the documentary. Orientation of the curriculum will introduce teachers, the curriculum, and its implementation. The session will focus on familiarizing teachers on how to introduce the DuSable curriculum to students; facilitate the program in the classroom, and assess student knowledge. Each participant will prepare lessons for use in this/her classroom. After completing the training, teachers will be capable of successfully implementing the curriculum in their classrooms for maximum student learning and achievement.
The Institute (AMPLD)™® expenditure uses funds to pay for costs associated with the Technological Integration of DuSable curriculum. This involves developing an interactive website; developing three different presentation styles text, audio, graphics, video, animation, and simulations; and applying the curriculum to the Learning Management System for assessment and mandated reporting requirements. In addition to enhancing the DuSable curriculum, the website will allow students to utilize the curriculum online.
The website/curriculum will be made available for any high school or educational facility that is interested in offering a web-based DeSable curriculum to students.
The Institute (AMPLD)™® will use funds to pay for marketing and advertising costs of the entire DuSable project.
The Institute (AMPLD)™® will use funds to monitor the publicity that the documentary is receiving and create awareness of the historical importance of DuSable through various media.
