For over 250 years in the Delta Mississippi River basin, there has been a constant effort to deflate the intrinsic value of a Nobel people’s history and its exceptionalism.
Evidential footprints left behind the genetic traits deposited from the enslaved African ancestors as manifested by the activities of their progeny. This map summarizes the latest research on the theories, methods, and results of marketing that seeks to make tourist destinations better places to live in and better places to visit.
It explores sustainability marketing’s two fundamental approaches, that of market development using market segmentation and that of sustainable product development.
The footprints left by the enslaved are profound evidence of American exceptionalism, in fact, the endurance of the enslaved is an act of unparalleled American exceptionalism. That exceptionalism flourished post-emancipation throughout the Delta Black-belt, flowing northerly up the Mississippi river basin to the target subjects’ niche, providing an innovative platform for establishing agri-tourism and entrepreneurship.
Continued evidence of the footprint extends through the law, to medicine, to science and technology, from agriculture to politics, from academia to the athletic fields, from the corporate boardrooms to the various halls of fame, from the church, mosque, temple.
