WHAT WE DO
The African Scientific Research Institute (ASRI) seeks to build an informed and engaged society by creating opportunities for scholars, concerned citizens, students, elected officials, and the public to actively participate in social discourse and educational programs that pertain to policy issues and social trends relevant to Human Ecology investigation.
HOW WE DO IT
ASRI utilizes a variety of platforms including internet-based, in-person, and blended format seminars, courses, symposia, and open or moderated discussions to help create a broadly informed and critically thinking community.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Through a balanced mix of public forums, training for new entrepreneurs, e-commerce, and education programs ASRI is a valuable resource for citizens, elected officials, and students seeking to become more engaged in the policy-making process.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Educational and training programs are based on lessons and best practices drawn from research. An active research program on best practices and policy primers for building tourism attractions, public business, and assistance to administrators is a core focus of our services, as it provides valuable content for training programs serving such enterprises.
The African Scientific Research Institute (ASRI), working in collaboration with the Hayti Cultural Community Learning Center (HCCLC) needs your support to establish educational and training opportunities for fifth through eighth-grade students enrolled in Southeast Missouri (SEMO) Archaeological Field Research Initiative. This program will provide unique learning experiences for underprivileged youth that currently reside in an immensely disadvantaged socioeconomic populace.
RESEARCH
ASRI’s forums, programs, and informational resources are non-partisan, non-biased, and balanced public meetings. Public discussions and educational programming at the Institute will rest upon a foundation of sound basic and applied research and a broad spectrum of public policy issues.
